Patriot Assist was started by siblings Will Jacoway and Leslie Jacoway Schneider, who are children of a proud Marine and Vietnam Veteran. They grew up in San Diego, CA and their extended family includes Army, Navy, and Air Force Veterans as well as members of Congress.

Will and Leslie hold tremendous respect for veterans and the sacrifices they and their families make for our country and our freedoms. The inspiration behind starting Patriot Assist was their dad.  His pride in America and adherence to strict discipline learned from his time in the Marine Corps proved excellent role modeling for his family. Even now well into his 80s, he continues to dedicate his time and finances to supporting skills training organizations for veterans and creating military-honoring events in San Diego.

Patriot Assist’s mission is to honor Veterans and their sacrifices by providing guidance and high-quality documentation needed to increase disability benefits with the VA.  Our highly trained staff and medical doctors are very familiar with the VA requirements.

We always start with a free consultation which includes a review of a Veteran’s current service-connected disability rating to see if there are any gaps in what he or she is eligible to receive.

After the necessary medical exams and a thorough final review of all signed documents, Veterans receive their completed Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) with detailed instructions for submitting their claim to the VA.
